I heard about this place thanks to AtlasObscura. The elephant gate is the most famous landmark of the Carlsberg district in Copenhagen. I came here at night and it was absolutely lonely. The elephants are simply impressive. I stood next to them and I felt their power and solemnity, the details are really amazing and I stood there, just watching them for solid 5-10m minutes.

My visit to the Elefantpoten in Copenhagen was a pleasant experience, although I had the opportunity to explore only the exterior of during the weekend. The gate itself was a testament to the grandeur of old European architecture, which added a special charm to the surroundings. The atmosphere and campus of the museum seemed truly captivating, exuding a wonderful vibe that I enjoyed. The availability of nearby parking made the visit convenient. Overall, even though I couldn't explore the interior, my experience at the gate was a nice one, and it left me with a positive impression of this historical site.

Tam bir sanat eseri, her iki kapıda da filler var. Diğer sanat ayrıntıları da göz kamaştırıyor.

This is the most famous landmark of Carlsberg district, the place where J. C. Jacobsen founded Carlsberg brewery in 1847. After production was moved to Fredericia in 2006, the area is undergoing a redevelopment plan, but keeping the historical red bricks buildings in place.

The Elephant Gate was completed in 1901 with its four life-sized granite elephant statues which is the most famous Carlsberg landmark, it once served as one of two entrances to the NY Carlsberg complex. Even though they have swastikas on the side of them, which signified something else entirely. In ancient times they had been associated with good fortune. I would recommend visiting this unique gate even though its abit further out from the main attractions. We cycled and it didn't take too long.
