Switched from Silver EFX to Capture One about a year ago because was tired of doubling up all my files and paying for extra storage and wanted a one stop solution. Once I got an understanding of the interface and tools by using the webinars and support items on youtube etc my workflow just sped up. Discovered some incredible pre sets that get my images looking great and with a few minor tweaks they can go to the lab for printing. Not quite sure why I did not switch years before.

Capture One has opened up the world of post processing to me. I had always viewed post-processing as complex and clumsy, but Capture One is intuitive, logical, and takes the mystery and difficulty out of finishing your photos. The post-processing capabilities of the program combine with the dependability of its tethering capacity to make it, for us, the complete tool, both in the field and at the studio.

As a long time user, Capture One has always been my favorite editing and file management program to use. Straightforward and powerful, the software is light years ahead of the competition. In terms of usability, Capture One is my goto for both my personal and professional work and has been for years. The true power of the software shows itself in how images render across a variety of fields - fashion, lifestyle, architecture, and travel, all my images are rendered exactly how I visualize them when out in the field or on set. I can highly recommend Capture One for both beginners and those with more experience.

Nightmare software. No competition for high level tethered capture and they know it. Memory leaks cost us dearly on a shoot yesterday forcing us to shoot to card and then import. Not the workflow I pay >$50 month to use.Fix your damn software. Nobody wants to use an iPad or iPhone to tether.

Capture One has been the foundation of my photography post-production workflow for the past 5-6 years and I couldn't see myself switching to any other solution. My workflow has become incredibly fast and efficient thanks to the great tools and features found in Capture One.

Since I first pulled up Capture One and used the color adjustments, I have never looked back. The control, speed and efficiency of Capture One is unmatched. The raw conversion and color control is far superior to anything else on the market. My photography is better because of Capture One.
