Stauning Whisky

Stedet er helt magisk, og den guide jeg oplevede, var virkeligt god og levende i sine beskrivelser og måden at levere dem på.Om man kan lide deres whisky er jo en smagssag, men det er god whisky, og oplevelsen ved en rundvisning/smagning er god uanset hvad.

That was one of my best buying experiences. A friendly and competent saleswomen with a lot of knowledge and soul about the whiskys helped us. A relaxed atmosphere and the chance to taste the desired Whiskys. Even the storefront is impressive and worth to visit. You can walk around outside and even see more about the destillery. So the two hours destillery tour must be fantastic (but I had no time this time). The taste of the Whisky is really great, too and doesn't need to hide behind more known whisky areas. You can taste and smell the heart and soul in every dram. If you are around visit them (even if you are not into Whisky).

The tour was well worth it. The tour and tasting took 95 minutes. There are tours in Danish, German and English. You can book the tours online or right there at their shop. During the tour we were told how Whisky is made in general and what Stauning Whisky does differently. The guide was also very entertaining. The tasting included 3 Whiskys and I was kicked out because I asked for a coke to mix it.
