Bad experience from using Zurich insurance and Handelsbanken MastercardAfter getting the tough news that my father had been diagnosed with cancer and needed immediate treatment, I reached out to Zurich on get some advice on how to deal with a family trip my family and I had recently booked.After two phone calls and email correspondence back and forth they advised me to cancel the trip and apply for them to cover the loses.A few days after cancelling our trip they returned and said they were not able to cover our loses due to their insurance policy.So instead of giving us that advice in the beginning so we would not cancel the trip, they took away our possibility of re-selling or just give the trip to somebody else, to enjoy some time together.We learned that Handelsbanken customers are not as good insured as other similar banks with a Mastercard insurance.
