I had the pleasure of working with Nordic Patent Service on obtaining a patent for my start-up, and I have to say that it was an outstanding experience. From start to finish, the team was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and helpful throughout the entire process.In particular, I would like to highlight my experience working with Gerard, who was my primary point of contact at the company. From our initial consultation, I could tell that Gerard was extremely experienced and well-versed in the patent process. He took the time to understand my business and the unique aspects of my invention, and he provided valuable insights and guidance throughout the process.The team was always available to answer any questions I had and made sure that I understood every step of the process. He was patient, attentive and professional at all times, and I felt that he truly cared about my success. Definitely not recommended, too expensive, seem startup friendly in the beginning but you never trust the charges you’ve agreed upon.In our experience, they came in very friendly in the local patent stage, so as a loyalty, we brought back our patent for PCT filing stage to them. We have agreed on a fixed price and upfront payment for official fees. We have paid the official fees following their own invoices in advance. Later, they have charged us more than what we have agreed as well as norm of the market.This is including that a few months later, we received invoices without our knowledge nor notice eventhough we have specifically agreed on a shake hand basis (our mistake) to not handle any work without our knowledge or approval in advance. However, they have charged us for unnecessary work (writing a report) without our knowledge and we received their unnecessary feedback with the invoice as we never requested nor required.Gerard from NPS, has also strongly recommended us to not act, when we have received negative feedbacks from the Danish patent office, and called their feedbacks, a ridiculous far-fetched argument" which fixing it could costs us a little bit and one time. However
