What a lovely surprise. Super Copenhagen approach to hard liquor craft brewing, very interesting tasting experience. You get a seated introduction, a very welcoming guide takes you through the history and thinking behind the operation. A short tour follows, and then it’s back to the tasting room. You get to taste the different stages of the production as well as various products. Next time I will add the cocktail experience also (you can buy select cocktails without prior purchase)

We did the distillery tour with a cocktail add on. Kate took care of us and she is SO passionate and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time. And the cocktails she made were perfect. The liquor was amazing. All around, it was a perfect experience.

La visite est assez chère (37,5€) pour moins d'une heure est demi. Mais c'est intéressant, on apprend pas mal de choses et la guide est très sympathique et accueillante. Suite à la visite on déguste au moins 7 ou 8 alcools différents (majoritairement purs) pour sentir les différences gustatives de chacun.

@findkate made this experience the highlight of our trip (second only to our friends getting married lol)!! Her knowledge of the company’s philosophy and techniques taught us a lot and made us appreciate the final product so much more. We were her last tour of the day, ending around 9PM, and she still was a consummate professional and had incredible energy. We bought some delicious beers, hot sauce, and cool t-shirts as souvenirs. Highly recommend everyone checking out this special place and asking for Kate!!

Yes, the spirits and other products are Amazing with a capital A! The real difference maker is Kate.She makes banging drinks, gives unforgettable tours and is hands down the best host you can imagine.Do yourself a favour and either book a tour or swoop into tasting room for a few drinks!

If you haven't heard of Empirical before and you enjoy spirits, your life will change. With clear roots to Noma, this distillery is literally revolutionizing the game and inventing methods/processes that are well beyond our time.Be sure to grab a tour and tasting if you can. If not, a couple cocktails. At the least, a couple bottles.Our guide Elena was incredibly smart and sweet. Highly recommend.
