Fidelis Asonze

I was there on Friday telling him I can’t breathe, I had corona and I’m not feeling well, he didn’t seem to care much about me , maybe because I don’t speak danish. But he made me a quick test and that’s all. I had 2 other issues, I needed a consultation with a specialist, he told me to find my way , and as I had COVID , I needed that paper from him that justifies that I can still tests positive for the next 12 weeks. Whatsoever, he told me that if I want that paper I need to pay him 400 Kr.Well, after all, Sunday I started feeling worst, and I went to Amager Akutklinic , where they found out I have pneumonia, how could Dr. Fidelis miss that?Well I definitely do not recommend him for international people.

Fidelis overtog praksis fra Hans Forchhammer, min læge gennem mere end 20 år. Hans fortalte, inden han stoppede, at han mente Fidelis var bedste efterfølger han kunne finde. Efter at have lært Fidelis at kende, må jeg erklærer mig enig. Fidelis gør sit yderste for at hjælpe sine patienter bedst muligt. Han kan være lidt utålmodig og hader at blive afbrudt, men har altid fokus på at hjælpe bedst muligt. så uden forbehold fem stjerner fra mig.

Dr. Asonze.A very professional doctor with a sense of humor.I don't speak Danish, but it wasn't a problem, the doctor helped me translate everything and explain what he said in English.A very professional person from start to finish.

My first meeting with dr Asonze was weird. I was explaining my medical background and as soon as I started talking he said ”But what do you want!?” So I told him what I wanted in one sentence and he was very helpful with my request.I’ve kept seeing him for a year now and everything works great. I think dr Asonze is one of those doctors who are kind, understanding but most of all professional. He has no interest in being your friend, he just want to do his job efficiently which he does very well.

I just want to underline what others have said if you are an international in need of a doctor. I had a sinus infection that spread into a serious lung infection but neither of those things were recognized by Dr. Asonze as he only asked me questions about where I am from and why I do not speak better Danish. I tried to tell him all my symptoms (in English and Danish as best as I could) but he neither seemed to listen nor did he do any examination. He only told me that I could not be in that much pain and that I should rest. At that point I had a fever of 39 degrees for consecutitive three weeks and was barly able to walk. I was very lucky that I could go to another doctor who prescribed antibiotics immediatly and treated me.I never wrote a review before but I felt so lost and hopeless after that doctors appointment and didn't understand what I did wrong that reading other peoples comments, helped me feel a bit less alone and actually encouraged me to reach out to a different doctor.I also want to note that this review is specific for Dr. Asonze as every other person working there has always been super helpful and Mette (the nurse working there) is the kindest person ever.

Bedste læge jeg nogensinde har haft :-)

Lægerne er søde, og gode til deres arbejde. Men de har alt for mange patienter. Det er lidt hul i hovedet, at et lægehus med 3 læger, har 2 ugers ventetid. Det ikke særlig optimalt når man er syg.

Fidelis Asonze har været min læge i 7 år, og han er den bedste læge! Jeg bliver altid taget seriøst når jeg kommer til samtale med ham, han er yderst dygtig og professionel, og gør alt for at undersøge helbredsproblemer til bunds. Han husker mig altid og er så venlig. Det er en fornøjelse at gå til lægen!

Don't choose this doctor if you are a foreigner and don't speak danish. He looks upset all the time because of that, and it's very difficult to understand what he is saying. By phone it's imposible to keep a conversation with him, and his way of talking to you is not very welcoming. I'm not saying he is a bad doctor, I'm just saying his manners are very unpleasant, and as soon as I can I will change my doctor, so I think to be comfortable in a good atmosphere is important too.

Jeg og min samlever har haft Fideles Asonze som læge siden Hans Forchammer stoppede. Han er en dygtig og omhyggelig læge og han har en fantastisk humor. Han elsker et godt grin, så konsultationen hos ham er både omhyggelig og seriøs, men foregår under rare forhold. Man føler ikke en læge patient afstand, han har altid god tid og kan altid finde en tid, hvor han kan se een, hvis man ikke har en aftale. Vi er meget tilfredse med vores læge, mange stjerner fra Nynne og Ragnar
