Bad experience, I went to the shop to rented the bike but they didn’t tell me about the sign-up fee for one month subscription which is not refundable. After I gave the Information of my credit card the bill showed I only need to pay the fee of one month rent. NO single information about the sign up. Since we directly went to the shop, even if there’s information about sign up fees in Internet, the Guy in the shop should guide us. This is a big trap for consumers

Min nye Swapfiets cykel, er langt bedre end min gamle T-hansen mountainbike.

I am an international student who was new to the language and everything. I only wanted the bike for 2 weeks. the shop representative did not guide us about any policies, that there is a huge sign up fee or that you have to give 30-day notice while canceling. While giving our card details, the total showed 150 dkk but later shopkeeper charged us 354 dkk. I have been calling the representatives and no one helped me but later my friend was refunded on the same problem. They charged me $52 for a stupid bike for 2 weeks without briefing. Just dont fall for their shady tracks!A person should read the terms and regulations on the website when they are ordering online but when you get the bike physically from the shop, the shopkeeper should have briefed. Moreover, they should SHOW the bill before charging the card. They SHOWED 159 dkk but charged 354 dkk.My 3 other international friends went through the same. Only one out of us 4 was refunded.

Egentlig en god cykel, og venligt personale. Men virkelig dårlig service.Jeg var så uheldig at få stjålet min elcykel, og har efterfølgende forsøgt at få hjælp fra Swapfiet til at finde den igen. Men hverken kureren, kundeservice eller den nærmeste butik vil hjælpe. De siger alle, at det er ikke noget de kan gøre og henviser efterfølgende til nogle andre.Jeg ved tilfældigvis at der er GPS i min cykel (selvom Swapfiet siger, at det kun er i nogle), da jeg er blevet informeret omkring dette, og derudover også havde et stort klistermærke på cyklen hvorpå der stor GPS. Så jeg forstår ikke hvad meningen med en GPS er, når der ikke er nogen hjælp at hente.Jeg har lejet en elcykel, for nemmere at kunne komme på arbejde hen over sommeren. De penge der blev sparet op, kan jeg hurtigt vinke farvel til, da der ikke er nogen som vil hjælpe med at finde cyklen. Generelt står jeg med en følelse af, at der ikke er nogen som er interesseret i at hjælpe.Blev også lovet af butikken, at jeg ville blive kontaktet for at få hjælp, men har fortsat ikke hørt fra nogen..På baggrund af dette, så vil jeg ikke anbefale Swapfiet til nogen.Venlig hilsen en tidligere kunde..

Attention!!! They will charge ADDITIONAL 149DKK for signing up fee!!! This rules should clearly SHOW in the bill. But the truth is when I went to the shop for renting a bike, the guy in the shop only told me the monthly fee is 159DKK and let us to sign up online. Besides that, no other guidance.But when we signed up online, there is only one small line (149 for one-off fee). I mean it is quite easy to ignore that. Then after I entered all details about my credit card, the website also shows that the fee is 159DKK.Few days later, we got the first invoice. We were all shocked about the fee. But when we called them, they told us the sign-up fee is also written in the confirm email. But I checked all the emails from swapfiets. Total 4, one is thanks for registering. One is quick question like a survey. One is to confirm my email address. The last is about canceling my subscription. That’s all. We are all annoyed about the unreasonable charge.I hope you guys will all notice that.

The procedure to get the bike, the fee and the bike itself were good. Unfortunately, I'm left with a bitter experience. Forgetting my home key there and then mysteriously getting disappeared, without ever getting an apologise, not to mention a refund.

Very helpful store, with the business model itself especially helpful for short-term residents who don't want to worry about always having a functional bike

A got a really good bike, and service also is good, I got some issues and the people helped me a lot. There is just one thing when you subscribe, make sure to check your account information, especially if you are a student, check that you have a student subscription.
