Humlebæk St.
Semi delapidated station. Empty and run down. No service available and no toilets. Automatic ticket machine often doesn't work, so make sure you have valid tickets from somewhere else when travelling to and from Humlebæk. If you use the danish rejsekort"

Smuk gammel stationsbygning, som er værd at bevare og vedligeholde

Closest train station to the famous Louisiana art museum. The museum is just about 5 minutes walk from the station. And signs with directions to Louisiana are clearly marked and can be noticed as soon as you get out of the train. Trains run every 20 minutes to Copenhagen city. There is an Italian restaurant and a cafe nearby.

Bahnhof in Humblebaek. Eher klein, zwei Bahnsteige. Unterführung vorhanden. Viel los, aber hauptsächlich Touristen, welche ins Kunstmuseum wollen. Nur ein Automat, Warteschlangen vorprogrammiert. Genügend Sitzplätze. Kein Warteraum, aber ein kleiner Supermarkt. Naja, eine durchschnittliche Haltestelle.

The station is fine, but it’s quite disappointing going inside the convenient store there. I have no idea how DSB actually pays attention to make good convenient stores in all stations I have been at, but the one in the city that has a very important museum (Louisiana) that must be visited once you come to Denmark, they just failed miserably. The store has no takeout food like usual 7-Eleven. Today they had though, but it was something I have never seen in my life. Did not have any sign explaining what it was. The store also sells the most useless things for a train station store (chili mayonnaise and corn flakes?) yet doesn’t sell basic things you could need in a hurry while making train travels. The place is full and empty at the same time, shelves very randomly around the place yet empty at some places, extremely full at others. Weird lighting, weird hygiene. I don’t know if the excuse to make such a poor place it’s because there is a shopping center on the other side, but that has nothing to do with DSB anyways.

Buena estacion. Es muy bonita pero sencilla, bastante transitada por la visita del museo. El tren te lleva bien desde Copenhague y sale cada 15 min aproximadamente.

Per Kirkeby's monumental brick sculpture (1994) north from Humlebæk station is the first monument on the way to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and marks the road to Louisiana. It appears to be a building, but there are no roof and walls. Many of Per Kirkeby's brick sculptures are located at transit sites, where people pass by or through. They are without function, but in relation to its surroundings and rooted in danish architecture, like a link between places. And that's the reason why many people pass the sculpture without noticing it. It makes the station more attractive.
