This was my first time in Copenhagen. The hotels location was excelent. This was our honeymoon. I almost had to pay for the room twice.The staff was okay. The room that we booked didn't meet our standard. The sheets of the bed weren't clean. The minibar wasn't cool enough. And the room was too hot because it didn't have AC.The breakfast was okay, but there wasn't so many options for glutein free diet.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff were able to address what we needed and resolved issues promptly. The location is near the main train station and all the tourist areas. The place was clean and kept clean. On weekends it was relatively quiet with all the bars open around us. We were happy with the stay.

I definitely enjoyed my stay with Ascot Hotels! As a solo traveller I felt so safe and welcomed by the staff, everything is very local to the hotel and within walking distance. The train station is really close too!Definitely recommend staying here when you visit Copenhagen

Not recommended at all.The room was cold, even with having all heating set up to maximum, but that's not the worst part.After we checked out, we put our luggage to the luggage room, where truth to be told: there was a sign that the hotel does not take any responsibility for the belongings put there. When we got back to get our luggage and go to the airport, we discover there was a theft in the hotel. The receptionist showed us the footage, that someone stole a card from the reception to enter the luggage room and they have evidence from every single moment. The hotel didn't help us at all, just referring to the police, where our official report is already submitted, but the report I needed from the hotel for my insurance company, somehow didn't mention the malpractice of the reception, just that the sign is up there, thefore the hotel can put their hands up. I accept the fact that I probably shouldn't have put my laptop into that room, but as the hotel handled the situation is really suspicious to me, they didn't provide any real help, the submitted a false report to me about what really happened, therefore I kind of lost my trust towards them.Avoid this place.

Don’t waste your hard earned money on this hotel. The front office isn’t very helpful and the guy Louis was plain rude when he was asked to check about the availability of the room. The room should’ve been ready before 3PM but they insisted to only give the room at 3PM when they are rooms which were empty in the hotel. They need better training on hospitality and how to speak to the guests. Also, send some of the hotel staff to India or Thailand for learning a trick or two about hospitality. The rooms are not cleaned for 3 days straight even though tagging the room with required option.

Fantastic stay at the Ascot. An amazing location, very close to the centre and Tivoli Gardens, everything within walking distance. Had a great sleep, bed was very comfortable and couldn’t hear any noise from outside or other rooms. The staff at reception were very friendly and I would highly recommend it.The only negative I had was the bathroom was right next to the bed and had a sliding frosted glass door with a hole in it to open and close it. This meant it wasn’t very private when you were using the toilet. Apart from that it was a lovely room, nicely decorated and comfortable.

Great location, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby is cozy and the hotel bar is great. However, the rooms are tiny, and the bathroom doesn't have a proper door, just a sliding piece of glass that doesn't close all the way. Expensive for what you get.

For starters, they don't have enough cleaning staff in order to turn over rooms. They concentrate on cleaning rooms for arriving guests and almost virtually ignore staying guests. Check in is not until 3pm despite being inundated with newly arriving guests early morning; many from cruise ships.We had to obtain clean towels from the front desk both days. Room window had been left open and there were at least a dozen mosquitos! Location is great but I would not stay here again. Because it is an old building getting in front door involved 4 steps up with no ramp to help vacilitate getting big bags into lobby. A very kind stranger helped heft my bag into lobby. Literally not a handicap friendly hotel. We did have an AC unit. Bathroom is treacherous with slick terrazzo and no bath mat. Shower designed by a moron which lead to the water slicked flooring.

The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. We asked to move from a regular room to a twin room, they let us know that none were available but that one would be the following day and we could move in there at no extra cost. Both rooms were of a good size and were all clean and well kept. The hotel is well located, and very close to central station, with a nice bar on site.

Hotel is conveniently located, rooms are comfortable and reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We booked 2 rooms - a 3 bedder (second floor) and queen bed room (third floor), both rooms were spacious.However, we had a staff enter our room despite locking the door. Past reviews show that this has happened couple of times - unnecessary and something the hotel should look into.
