Everything started out fine. I took 2 modules of Danish with IA Sprog. During the covid lock-down in March, the classes have been paused - fair enough, even though any other schools took the classes online at that period... After the lock-down was eased and language schools were allowed to be back in session, I was informed that the classes remaining from my course will not be carried out. Instead I can receive a discount when I sign up for another course. I have informed the school that I am not interested in another course and I would like my money back. I have not received a reply to my email. I called several times, without success... This was back in May. It's November now and no money back. I gave two stars instead of one, because the language learning part itself was fine. Customer service - terrible. I don't recommend this place.

Very good experience with my teacher and classmates, the café in Ia is also very nice for students.

Attending Danish classes at IA Sprog - especially for a beginner A1 level - was a horrible experience.I was very disappointed in the execution of the classes. I attended every class diligently up to class 8 (when which I stopped going), as I found the pace of the class was way too slow and not very useful.During class, there was NO emphasis or repetition of speaking + making the correct sounds during class.Sure, I was asked to speak in class, but I was never corrected for what or how I was saying things. I constantly had to ask the instructor for guidance on how I was pronouncing things.Being told to learn the Danish alphabet by going to the website to listen to the audio file is not really that useful.All the exercises we worked on in class were taken from the videos on the website (which I could watch on my own at home).Overall with the teaching, I felt like it was mostly someone guiding me thought the website, which I could do myself - which I why I stopped attending class after class 7.More importantly, I was actually super angry and upset with the migration of the learning website a couple weeks into class.With the delays and the lack of content properly moved + the layout of the site being not properly tested / QA'd on your end before it went live" for the students

I called IA Sprog - school this morning to find out how I could continue studying Danish. I have had quite some courses at IA Sprog before (in 2017), so I thought continuing at the same school would make sense. However, an extremely rude unhelpful person answered the only contact number I could find on the website. She immediately expected me to want public and free classes and ended the call with no further explanation than: You have to go somewhere else. I was quite choked about her reaction, called back and asked if she was not knowing more about how I could continue or if she was just being intentionally difficult, to which she answered that the public schools are a competition and therefore the school doesn't give any information and told me to use something called google. Her rudeness was so profound that I definitely will not be interested in knowing anything about the new private IA Sprog-school or FVU nor will I recommend the school for any of my foreign friends whom, like me, have come to Denmark for work, have now built a career and have the interest to better their language skills.And if IA Sprog really is worried about “the competition” by the public schools then I suggest giving the staff answering the phone some pointers about how to sell your schools courses, like some good reasons why it would be beneficial to choose to continue at IA Sprog instead of sending them to google free classes.

If there is any chance to give them -5 stars. I would preferably do that happily. The worstest helpline when you call them. Trying to push you to hang up the phone in less than minute and go on there website. Even if you already spend 0ne hour on their website.

IA sprog is a excellent school, good n cooperative teachers, helpful staff, nice canteen n a very clean building always.(Welldone Murad)I improved alot in Danish.I had different teachers during different classes and all were very helpful.Henrik Raabye is not only master of FVU matematik but he is also very helpful vejleder.He is very professional n helpful and always finds a solution.My teacher during DU2 December 2016 was Annemette Beich, she is very professional teacher. I got 10.5 karakter in DU2.I recommend new students to join this school.

Great teacher, (Michael ) sharing the particularities of the danish language in a very structured manner, insisting on grammar, punctuation, specific danish expressions- just what a foreigner needs: a solid base on to which one can build a fluent dansk. I am so glad that I moved to IA Sprog and so angry with myself, at the same time, for wasting 10 precious months at a dreadful language school in Copenhagen. Reception and admin team are also very organised and willing to meet the student's needs. Thank you all. Highly recommended to anyone who is serious about learning danish.

Rude customer service and like racialist to talk and answer student questions. They do not know anything about communication at all as human being. Never ever recommended.
