Studieskolen - Copenhagen Language Centre

Hi, I took just online course and so far i am very satisfied. I have a kids and now it is very hard to participate in real clases. It is very nice that online sessions is once a week, so I have plenty of time to study before next lesson. Of course taking online course You should expect that a lot of work You will need to make by Yourself and of course have a lot of practice outside the class. I would definitely recommend this school.

I enrolled in the summer school to study A1 course unit with Cem and Ken as teachers. It was a great experience. The teachers were excellent. They were patient while teaching us and explaining tricky pronunciations. They also created lots of creative opportunities for us to interact in Danish in the classroom.Too bad I couldn't attend the classes in the last week due to prior personal commitments. But even then, I am feeling confident that I can I do some social interaction in Danish. In fact, I had an encounter with a shopkeeper who was only speaking in Danish. I couldn't respond much in Danish, but at least I could understand what he was trying to say.

The best teachers. Got a lot of personal feeback. They are patient, they know how to adapt the teaching to the class's level. Can definetly recommend.

Excellent teachers (the ones from København Sprogcenter) can not be more grateful for their interest and passion for teaching Danish in a friendly manner. However, since it changed to Studieskolen I have noticed a decrease in professionalism and kindness not only regarding the teachers but the receptionists.. Hope this will change, it is HONESTLY annoying to have to deal with rude people.

Best online learning platform I’ve had in awhile!Studieskolen just had a revamp of the previous platform and it is now much easier to use, responsive to different browsers and devices and looks great.It has a great learning curriculum with a combination of videos, pronounciation, listening and writing exercises. You keep access to the platform even after the courses end.I now look forward to learning Danish which is quite an incredible feat!

This is the only language school I went to in Denmark, so my review is not based on a comparison with a similar school in the area.Unfortunately the school has failed to win the bidding process with KBH Kommune on providing free danish classes for next year, so no free danish classes will be offered after June. Actually, in this regard, my review will note make much sense to read and to contemplate upon ... so I stop here :) ... but for the sake of making a statement, I would continue to take classes in this school if KK would have renewed their contract... Good teacher / Good environment

A friend of mine told me to go and apply at this school for Danish lesson. I went the reception was really friendly and very helpful. She booked me an interview at the same day. But the Lady who was interviewing me, her communication skills was 0 she wasn't interested at all about my work schedule. She proposed me to start at level 3 Because I already speak read and write 3 languages and I have a bachelor degree. And then I asked about level 2 she told me it's easier only that without explaining the disadvantages. And when a friend of mine explained everything they she should have done. I went and asked if I can start at level 3 like they proposed to me in the beginning. The receptionist really helped me but the lady that interviewed me said no even tho she proposed it for me. She sould have some communication lesson and to be more friendly and not agresive like she was.

I started FVU Start course 2 weeks ago. Quite satisfied so far because lessons are well-organized and effective, include lots of speaking. I recommend this particular course.

I definitely agree that the teachers are kind and friendly - however, I really can’t recommend taking danish classes at KBH Sprogcenter (and frankly wish I’d saved the money and skipped the class I took).After a short evaluation I was recommended to join a B1 class but told I was right on the border to B2, so i signed up for the higher class to challenge myself. I expected (per the orientation and website) a rigorous speaking course and “several hours “ of homework per week.The class is unfortunately run at a really low level and there is little to no real facilitation of conversation, so you end up dependent on your table mates to prompt any practice. The teacher is really *too* kind — not providing smiles and nods and zero live feedback on how to improve. A recording would be just as helpful.Homework in the forms of a very short oral (3-5 min) or written (100-250 word) piece and 2 quizzes takes maybe 30 min to complete. For a class that meets once a week, I’d expect literally 5-10X this amount of work to drive any improvements.In short...really disappointed by the class and will be looking elsewhere for my next level. Or, maybe I’ll spend the 1500dkk on 2-3 hours of private lessons, which I’m convinced would have been significantly more helpful.
