Excellent service at Aarhus Airport, but absolutely awful at Aalborg airport. The parking area was not staffed and there were no signs indicating what to do with the car, the keys, the satnav, etc. We got help from a member of Europcar staff, who told us what to do. However, even inside the terminal, there was no one in the office, and the information about what to do was very confusing. There was a phone number to ring, but nobody answered it. It was very lucky that we didn't have any issues with the car, otherwise we'd have been really stuck!

Amazingly terrible experience. Didn't expect this from Hertz. I had a prepaid booking which they decided to cancel since I arrived just slightly over one hour later than my booking time. They never bothered to call me and ask. Moreover the office was closed in the middle of the working day so I had reach them by phone. They told me they gave my car to other customer and there were no cars left. The real reason for cancelation was that demand increased and the prices went up three times since I booked, so they needed a reason to ditch me. When the office lady finally arrived, she wad rude and offered no solution or help. I am Hertz's a five stars valued" member with multiple bookings around the world. Newer again I will rent a car from Hertz. Good luck with such customer service Hertz!"
