Phoenix Copenhagen

This is a lovely hotel. The staff were so helpful and attentive. I had dinner at the hotel one evening and it was delicious and healthy. My room was nice and comfortable and clean, although the bathtub was quite high to climb in/out of to access the shower, the bathroom door would not stay open, there were 2 shower heads and one dripped cold water while I used the other, which was a bit frustrating. Also opening the window to get air brought in cigarette smoke from the street. The gym was a bit dark in the basement so wasn’t very inviting. Apart from those minor issues I enjoyed my stay. Also you cannot beat this location in Copenhagen, close to the canal, coffee shops, good restaurants, palaces and other tourists sights. It was a nice safe area. I recommend this hotel.

Great location. Literally 25-30mins away from airport by using subway line M2.Also very close to Nyhavn, the most touristy place in CPH.Rooms are small and crammed.Service in front desk is great.Breakfast is ok, options for any taste and also appreciate the fresh fruits.Fitness is fine. Plenty of equipment to work your routine out (2 pulleys, 2, benches with varying dumbbells up to 24kg) 2 treadmills, and one rowing machine. Also medicinal balls, 2 kettlebell (8 & 10kg) and few steppers.Restaurant/bar is decent, not many options. I had a burger that was ok though would not eat there more than once.

Great location. Close to Metro and all main city sights. Within walking distance of many things. Less than 200 mts from the famous Nyhavn. Comfortable sized rooms and facilities. Very friendly front desk staff. Overall, was a good stay with nothing to complain about.

Service was fantastic! The rooms are small, which is pretty common in major European cities. Bath tub is narrow and difficult to enter/exit. Breakfast was very good!

Lækkert stort værelse med fin kaffemaskine. God behagelig seng. Pænt badeværelse med alt hvad man havde brug for.Personalet var meget venlige og servicemindede. Vi fik god morgenmad.Da vi tjekkede ind kunne vi få værelset en time før tid. Da vi tjekkede ud havde vi mulighed for at opbevare bagagen på hotellet i nogle timer.Beliggenheden er tæt på marmorkirken, nyhavn og strøget.Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel. Kommer helt sikkert igen!

This is a beautiful, centrally located hotel with very friendly staff. The lobby is majestic and everything is in excellent shape. Our street-facing room on the fourth floor was a standard room (17 sqm), cozy but by no means claustrophobic, and very quiet. The large double bed was on the soft side, and the marble bathroom was reasonably sized though the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. We told the front desk, and it was fixed immediately. Service is really a big plus in this hotel: the front desk staff, especially Amelia, and the bar staff (Michas) are very friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome. The hotel has a decent fitness centre and a courtyard that’s probably nice in the summer but was closed in November. We had breakfast once, and the food quality was very good though the buffet wasn’t huge. Location is excellent with a five minute walk to Nyhavn and many other major attractions, as well as metro and train stations. Like most of Copenhagen, it’s not cheap but it is definitely good value. We’d love to return.

The location is great, close to metro, and some of the main attractions. The hotel itself is designed like a classic one. The room was so small that because of my luggage, I didn't have a place to walk. I lived on the first floor and to get to my room there were stairs so if you have a heavy bag like I had it is very uncomfortable.The breakfast was poor and the same every day for 5 days I spent here.

Very nice hotel! The location was great, the breakfast very good with a good variety of items, and the room was quiet, comfortable, and very clean!. All of the staff, front desk, bellboys, servers, housekeeping, were all very pleasant and helpful with anything you needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
