Musikhuset Aalborg

This is my absolute favorite musical equipment store.The owner Theodor is very well versed in all kinds of instruments. though it is my understanding that his greatest area of expertise is within stringed instruments.Theodor himself is usually in the store during opening hours, and he will enthusiatically and thouroughly tell you everything he knows about any instrument in the store given that you have the time to listen. This may seem to some as eagerness to sell, it is not(!) he simply enjoys talking about his trade and his passion within music.Case in point; once i was having a very rough day, and i felt a need to play the ukulele, i did not have one. So i called the shop, Theodor picked up the phone, i told him i needed a ukulele, acoustic would do fine, but one with a pick-up would be amazing. I told him i had a budget of around 1000kr. He told me he'd find something suitable.When i got to the shop, he had a Santana Tenor Ukulele ready for me to try out, it was 799kr, with a pick-up and a built in tuner. If he was only in it for the money he could have just as easily sold me a 1000kr acoustic ukulele and i would have been a well satisfied customer. But that is not his style, i believe he will always do right by those who browse his shop, even if they are not currently looking to buy.I personally will not shop online for anything i can get at this store, as i firmly believe that these types of businesses should be much more appreciated than they usually are.10/10 will go again.

Super behagelig betjening, og rigtig god service. Det gør det rart, at handle lokalt i en fysisk butik, fremfor at handle online.(Købte et dobbelt keyboard-stativ.)

Var inde og kigge på guitar. Må sige det var en rigtig god oplevelse. Dejlig afslappet atmosfære i butikken, god tid, god professionel vejledning. Absolut et besøg værd.

Lidt rodet butik! Men ejeren er en herlig mand! Han kan sine ting. Og er altid klar til at hjælpe! Uanset hvad du måtte have i tankerne, specielt i studie/produktion sammenhæng er han kniv skarp!

Teodor did an excellent job of servicing my PRS guitar, which had not been serviced since it was bought in 2019 and I had lost interest in playing it. Now I play it all the time, thankyou Teodor. You did a super job
