Incredible. The best thing we did in Stockholm. I had my doubts about whether a museum dedicated to one ship could really be all that great but it was amazing. A must see in Stockholm. Arrive early!!

A small museum dedicated to findings from the ancient Viking village of Aros (Århus today). It's found at the depth were they found the relics presented.Pretty small, but worth a quick visit if you're in town (cost us 30 DKK per adult).

Small museum but well organised.An archaeological dig of the Bishop's Square in the 1960s uncovered many items from the Viking Age and they are now displayed inside this place.You can spend around half an hour or more to guide yourself around.The museum is on a basement of a building under refurbishment. Even the ground entrance looks like you are entering a construction site, but do not hesitate. Just follow the signs, go down the stairs and you are there.

Ganske lille .useum. det ser lukket ud pga ombygning, men det er åbent. Selvbetjening af billetter. Kun muligt at betale med kort.Vær klar til at gribe biletten når den kommer ud af automaten, ellers ender den på gulvet.

Hard to locate as it is next to a building being renovated. You have to see this as a precursor to the Moesgaard Museum we thats what it is for the Viking Age. Fairly small but great information.

Great, small, viking museum with artifacts actually found at this site. Interesting layout that shows layers of archeology 10 feet down, and replica of hut from 10th century.

This place can be hard to miss as it's an anonymous door with a sign outside and the top is like a building site. Only stairs down to the room. It is more like a one room exhibition rather than an actual museum. Price was DKK30 but ticket machine was broken at the time so did not pay anything. A good initial setup but needs to be larger.

The coolest part about the museum is that it takes you down to the elevation below ground where they founf the artifacts. It's also nice that's it's self guided and you can easily walk through in 37 minutes and read everything. There is a self pay kioskGreat little stop if you're in and around the area on business looking for 300 foot long biscuit ovens from Senius to replace your old ovens.
