Go Hotel Ansgar

Super clean, very comfy beds and linens, relatively rich and tasty breakfast, friendly and helpful staff at reception. Location is extremely good for using the rail system and going from/to airport, the usual environment around central station is not that of a problem in Copenhagen. We rented bikes, which were very nice and well maintained! A small remark on breakfast - the espresso machine was not working and we couldn’t get such during the whole breakfast time - it didn’t seem like an issue for the staff.

Close to the Copenhagen Central station complex. Easily visible. Decent menu for breakfast. Nice and compact rooms. Bathroom is little congested..Many guideline brochures for the tourists at the reception. Courteous and friendly crew of service desk at reception.Overall good experience.

The rooms are clean, but very small. However, it was convenient for a short business trip. In order to reach the elevator, you have to walk up the stairs for 0.5 floor, this is somewhat difficult if you have heavy luggage.

I will start with my complaint: the front of the building needs cleaning up! I did not feel good when I would return to the hotel because of all the street trash, broken glass and leaves that had blown in the bikes and coming from neighboring buildings. This mess made the hotel feel on the cheap side. On a positive note: The rooms were VERY clean and tastefully decorated. I felt the photos make the room and bathroom look much bigger than they really are. They are very tiny (no closet, no drawers) which I thought might be a problem but we made it work. The location near the train station makes the area easily accessible but also very busy with people and activity. The outdoor patio is wonderful and so is the breakfast room!

Best for the breakfast, loved the options for food. We truly enjoyed fresh and yummy breakfast.Hotel rooms are a bit small and so are the bathroom and toilet.Metro and train station are easily accessible, just 2 minutes away.Tivoli is also very close.

Very good value for money. Very clean, nice rooms and very nice staff! Also the hotel rental bikes are a very good option to visit Copenhagen. Bikes are new and well maintained. The interior garden it’s a nice place to sit and enjoy a beer!

Clean basic hotel at a convenient location. Easy walk to sightseeing, shopping, restaurant, bars. Very quiet room facing court yard. when book the room, make sure to include the breakfast for each person. My wife mistakingly entered one person for the room, therefore only one breakfast was included in the room price. I have to pay for the breakfast for each day stayed there. it costs DKK 119. Roughly $25 canadian. Worth the money as the food in the city is very expensive.

Great location!My single room (518) was very small and uncomfortable.No aircon remote which meant it was too cold so I turned it off (which meant it was then too warm.)There is a lift but you need to carry bags up 1 flight of stairs to reach lift as well as up/down 1 flight on your destination floor).Service was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful.Self serve laundry available at nearby sister hotel saga hotel 3 mins walk (small load wash + dry 80 DKK)

Enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were clean, quiet and nice, comfy beds and a decent shower, we had a nice view of the courtyard too.The staff on reception were friendly and helpful.We liked the location of the hotel around a 5 min walk from the main shopping streets and only around the corner from the train station. Which meant it was quiet on an evening too.
