Came here after a quick tour inside the Round Tower nearby. Was seated pretty quickly on a Monday. $100 or the Danish currency equivalent includes a beer, a tasting menu which offers 5 small danish open sandwich (danish tapas?), a main course" and a dessert.Beautiful presentation through out

Wonderful traditional Danish restaurant. The interior is so lovely and inviting. The food, service and ambiance were fantastic. 6 of us shared the smoked salmon, herring platter, lobster salad, tomatoes, mushroom, chicken salad, tartare and fried plaice. Everything was delicious, fresh and visually stunning. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly.

Any trip to Denmark wouldn’t be complete without trying some smørrebrød, an open filled sandwich.We opted for a few from the meat/fish session, including the plaice, smoked salmon, lobster and the chicken salad.Useful tip, order one each to begin with, the if still craving more, order another batch. We had 4 and it was more than enough.

Overall very good but fairly expensive food. The beef tartare was especially good. I don't get why they won't let people get the tasting menu unless the whole table participates tho, they let the guy who came by himself do it but I can't because I was with other people?

The small potatoes smørrebrød was absolutely phenomenal. Their drinks menu was also impressive - I really enjoyed the gin&tonic. Servers were lovely and the restaurant itself had such a nice atmosphere. Was still peckish so ordered the petit fours - avoid. Really was not overly impressed and would rather have gotten a second course of smørrebrød!

Exceptional smørrebrød (Danish open sandwich) experience. I couldn’t believe the flavours were possible in a sandwich. Lovely wait staff. Expensive of course like everything in Denmark but was really pleased we went. Suggest you only need 2 smørrebrød each (3 was too much).

A good, modern take on smørrebrød. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere that tends to get a bit loud, but the staff are quite attentive and the service is good.My Icelandic salmon smørrebrød was well-prepared and flavorful, and the fresh cheese was a nice touch. However, the portion size left something to be desired.The mushroom and hazelnut sandwich my boyfriend had looked quite nice, but struggled to hold together, as the bread was overburdened with toppings. This made actually eating the thing rather more complicated than necessary.For desserts, the strawberry shortcake was tasty but messy, disintegrating quickly when trying to portion it. We also had the vanilla ice cream, and it was pretty good.The food presentation is certainly a high point – all the sandwiches look very good on the plate. However, the functionality of the dishes and the modest portion sizes don't entirely align with the price. While the experience was interesting, and the food generally quite good, overall it seemed a tad impractical for lunch.

A must visit - food is amazing - we probably got a server who was not the best so can’t say the entire restaurant service is bad - be careful - they will try and sell you the big menu 550 worth and then if u r a party of 4 like us they will try and sell u the other 410 worth as well and then ask what else will you like - we fell prey to this and honestly the food was a lot - u can consider ordering individual dishes or look around - we couldn’t since we were the 1st to enter — enjoy !!
