You have the choice to side either inside or outside. The ambient is nice inside and the food is good. The staff could be more attentive. It is a good choice if you are also staying in Admiral hotel.

We went there during Copenhagen dining week. Foods were amazing but above all the staff that took care of our table was extraordinary service. We had a good time and definitely visit again!

Excellent Food in a Beautiful SettingWe discovered SALT based on our friend's recommendation as a great place for a dinner for two. We loved it.We started with some delicious cocktails from the generous bar menu and followed with a couple of well-sized starter plates (Two starter places easily serve as a main course). The local starter bread is amazing, as are the three varieties of specialty salt. The wild boar was exquisite - certainly the best pork dish I had in years - followed by fried fish with capers, and a delicious steak.The presentation of the food is great, it is super-tasty, and the portions are decent. And all of this in a beautiful Hanseatic setting.I believe we found our new local favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. We will definitely be back in.

After much research I selected this place for my last dinner in Copenhagen before heading back home. Let’s start w the good.Location, decor, setting and service was outstanding. High scale, quiet and a warm touch due to the solid wood beams and table cloths.Now the food was ok.The appetizers, the sourdough bread came cold, and after spending here 10 days and enjoying wonderful warm sourdough and a whole variety of bread all around town that were excellent, this was a bit disappointing. The same goes to the two appetizers, fried dough and croquettes with truffle were also cold.The main dish was much better. We went with a-la-cart.The Fettuccine Puttanesca was very good. Steak was ok.Dessert was acceptable.

Went 2x for a cocktail on different days in same week.Ordered twice same cocktail, the mixture was completely different. One was delicious, the second not at all.Service could be better to match the status of the hotel.Nice setting, but will probably not return

Being at Salt was one of the best experiences I ever had. The waiters were really nice and polite and passionate about food explaining it.The food was in perfect portions and absolutely delicious!!! The combination of wine with fish, meat or vegetables was right on spot.Had an amazing experience and would not hesitate to comeback if I am back in Copenhagen.A well deserved restaurant for having a Michelin star.

I came to the restaurant thinking that I will have a fine dining experience but I was wrong. So keep your expectations low.The restaurant is only open from 17:30 to 22:00. The service is weak. If you come at 21:00, the menu items might be already sold out. You will be not reminded when the kitchen stops serving so don’t be late for ordering dessert and coffee.I had the pork dish and the bergamot ice cream. I didn’t like the acidity for both of the dishes.Do not bother for americano…

I live near Admiral hotel. It is really hard to find a decent place to have a cup of coffee in Copenhagen. I found that here I felt pleasant enough and that coffee is not as sour as it is in other places (even though not good, but good enough), so I thought of it as my summer base for midday or morning coffee. Today, I sat at one of the tables in the area with parasols where I would usually sit (as sun is really harsh on skin here). Table was dirty (even more than usual, I actually rarely see anyone wipe them after customers, but that is a standard here in Denmark). When a waiter finally arrived (there is always unusually long wait) he smacked a menu over the crumbs and stains from a previous customer. I asked him to wipe the table and said I will have a coffee. He told me I can't have a coffee and that I have to eat or move to the area that is hit with sun, quite away and in general less comfortable. I just said Thank you
