Globalhagen Hostel

We stayed for 2 nights at the hostel in a room for 3. The communication in advance was super easy and friendly. The location was perfect for exploring the city and easy to find. When we arrived, they showed us a save space in the backyard to store our bycicles during our stay. We were welcomed super fiendly and the stuff was very helpful. The atmosphere in general was very pleasant and welcoming and during the night it was silent so we could sleep well. The room was simple and clean with nice art at the wall and had many empty spots to store luggage. The kitchen offered a lot of items you need for cooking and was clean even when it was used by many people. The bathrooms/shower rooms in the first and second floor were clean as well. Just in the third floor it get dirty soon (but this is more the fault of the people using it...). We also loved the different paintings on the walls and the cozy common room.All in all you get a lot for the price and also support a great project! We've never been at a hostel like that before! Thanks to all the volunteers who spend a lot of time and love to create and run this little hostel paradise :)

A good place, very central and near everything the only problem was guests which was slamming the door and very noise so was impossible sleep thank god we stayed only two nights.

Excellent hostel, staff were very friendly and had no problems with me checking in after 22:00 as my flight was delayed. Excellent location, only 20 minutes from the city centre on foot. And of course probably the cheapest beer I found in Copenhagen :D. 100% will use this hostel again!

I liked staying there! Good rooms and bathrooms. Especially loved the fact that they allow to leave your baggage there, even if you’re already checked out! And that you can leave your key in a special box if you’re going out early. Price equal to the quality!

Room is OK, bedlinen is clean. The duvet and pillows don't look too great. Could do with an extra shower at times. The shower head itself has seen better days.Haven't used any other facilities. Selected these digs for their convenient location to FC Copenhagen stadium. With is a leisurely 30 min walk.

Decent price, reasonably easy check in, and the rooms were reasonably comfortable enough, very standard hostel type dorm where they provide you with clean sheets you put on your bed. This is a very, very standard hostel, does not stick out in one way or another.Only minor points of note. There is a pretty bustling cafe-bar for an entrance. In general this is cool as there’s an active social scene inside the hostel itself. Still, there was only a tiny feeling of there not being more of a tranquil area to rest, since the cafe-bar-lobby is pretty energetic and it was packed when I was there. Also, there’s a kitchen on the top floor but when I was there it smelled quite sour and bad on the top floor, which honestly demotivated me from using it. So I would say the kitchen was not that comfortable and I kind of avoided it. The rest was solid. Would definitely stay again, for an indefinite amount of time, and very likely will be.

Had a great time at Globalhagen. Good price for the city, located in a nice neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and bars. The rooms were ok and the beds also. The toilets and showers were too little for the quantity of rooms. The strong points are the kitchen and the living room on top floor and the bar at entrance level. The staff was also very good and it was a nice place to meet interesting people.

Clean bed and rooms. Toilet are clean too. However showers can be cleaner. There are hair all over the shower area.Kitchen is available but lacking utensils. Lots of butter knives (about 20+ butter knives) but only 3 forks and 3 spoons were available. Fridge was also slightly dirty, especially the free food" section

The hostel has a very friendly environment. I had taken a 8 bed shared room. The room was pretty small. FYI I have stayed in hostels past 2 years so compared it was pretty small. There was 2 toilet and 2 bathroom for one floor where there were more than 4 rooms, all shared dorms. In this 1 toilet was choked and one bathroom did not have light and window so it was pretty dark to tak bath. The other bathroom was fine but it was pretty smelly. However the prices of this hostel was very good and the people working there are jolly so I would recommend this hostel if you just want to sleep in room and spend rest of day outside or at hostel bar.
