I’ve been living here for 2 years and I can’t recommend a better place for a student to live.Location: doesn’t get better than this. Basecamp is located in the heart of Copenhagen, walking distance to old town area, many museums, bars as well as grocery stores.The building: historical and outstanding. The view from the windows is beautiful from every part of it. The ceiling is high, which makes the rooms spacious and full of light.Common areas and community life: there is a gym open 24/7, 3 common kitchens and a few common spaces to study/hangout with friends/ party. Each month there are events organized where I continue to meet other international students!Last but not least - friendly and responsive administration. There is no queue for the booking (in a contrary to other student dorms in Cph), so you can just contact them and see if they have anything available. There are 2 managers in the office during the week, that are always willing to help.Highly recommend!

I have lived at BaseCamp Copenhagen City for 4 years now and can fully recommend it.Main advantages:- Fantastic location in the city- Gym available 24/7 in the same building- Friendly and helpful reception and handyman- Furnished rooms, ideal if moving from another country- Nice community of international students

Room was fine but VERY underwhelmed by the administration here. Beware! Hidden fees and slow admin around payments, and lack of willingness to help has made the experience here very disappointing. I love Denmark and the Danes! but mgmt here leave a very bad taste for the experience at Basecamp. I’d avoid if you can. I think the number of poor reviews says it all.

I stayed in a private room overlooking the King's Garden for the Spring 2022 semester.Living here and the friends I made here were the reasons my semester abroad was so enjoyable.It is quite expensive but the location is amazing and the building is beautiful. It is definitely worth it for a short stay.

Excellent place to live in Copenhagen whether for a short or long stay! Very safe and convenient central location, close to nearby grocery stores, public transportation, gym, cafes, and a food market (torvehallerne). Rooms are well heated, clean, well isolated (you barely hear your neighbors), and tastefully decorated in the best Scandinavian-design style! There are washing machines available within the building at very convenient prizes, and a nearby corporate-own laundry service that can be used to wash things like carpets or duvets. Basecamp personnel are very helpful and nice and they are always happy and ready to help! (Laura is the nicest person ever!). 24/7 available help for situations such as lock outs (at a fee) or any other inconvenience that you may experience. Excellent house-maintenance service: if something breaks and gets reported someone will fix it in 24 hours. While rooms are a bit pricey, all the help and great service makes it worthy. I had an excellent experience living there and I can´t recommend it enough.
