We took the Grand Trip around Copenhagen.This tour exceeded our expectations. It is a great way to cover a lot of sites in a day, but never feel rushed. The groups are small so you feel heard and taken care of. The best thing though is the guide. Our guide, Nikolaj, thoroughly engaged us in the history and people of Denmark from the minute we got on the bus until he dropped us off. Highly recommend.

Hamlet Tours did an amazing day trip of Kronborg, Roskilde and Frederiksborg from start to finish! We were picked up on time in a medium sized bus (small group tour made up of several families and individuals), so we were always close to our guide to hear his narrative. Thomas, our guide was incredible! He was funny, personable and extremely knowledgeable about Danish history, monarchies. We are so glad we found them on TripAdvisor!

We did the grand tour around Copenhagen and it was amazing! Sites not to be missed, Roskilde, Viking museum, Freideriksbourg, and Hamlet's castle in Elsinore. Robert was an outstanding tour guide and we learned so much about all of the sites and Denmark itself. Totally worth the time spent on this all day tour. It really let's you see the whole island and rounds out a picture of Danish history here. Well done!

I took the the Grand tour around Copenhagen tour today 21/07/22 with Nikolaj. It was a wonderful experience and he was patient, generous and very knowledgeable about every fact ,answering all questions, providing insights and caring for the elders on our tour . A must do tour on your to do list of Copenhagen!

We booked a Grand Day tour of Copenhagen of Roskilde Cathedral, Viking ship museum, Frederiksborg Castle and Kronborg Castle. It was a medium sized van of 16 people in the tour. The guide was full of knowledge and wit, it made the tour very fun and easygoing. The tour was well timed and not too rushed considering all the places you get to cover. Unfortunately Kronborg Castle is under construction right now so that part of the tour felt a little underwhelming. Roskilde Cathedral and Frederiksborg Castle were definitely the highlight of this tour.

We had a wonderful tour seeing castles and cathedrals. Benji our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable, funny, and has a great singing voice! I would highly recommend him and the tour. The bus was comfortable, and Benji was a great driver. It was also nice being dropped off at our hotel at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful time on our tour with Jorgen (George.) The van is comfortable and you are driving a very short time. I enjoyed the sights, the leisurely pace, the canal ride, and our very informative but laid back guide. The lunch restaurant had nothing for vegans (except beer) and only one dish suitable for vegetarians. Well, it was traditional Danish! Overall, highly recommended!

A Grand Day - Roskilde Cathedral, the Viking Ship Museum, Frederiksborg Palace and Kronborg Castle. Yesterday, we took the Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen with Benji. While we visited the various sites he gave us a timeline to follow through the culture, art and people of Denmark. He also did a wonderful job of pulling the historical pieces together by adding background and color to what we were seeing. He was friendly, funny, efficient, and professional - just what we want in a tour guide. He also seems to love what he does and that makes all the difference.

This tour was amazing! Nick (our guide) was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We only had 2 days to spend in Denmark, and this tour was phenomenal. In 8 hours of touring, we felt as though we had really seen a variety of amazing sites, learned a lot about Denmark, and came home with a full photo album. Thanks, Nick!

The Roskilde, Frederiksborg and Kronberg Day Tour is a great way to see highlights of Denmark's history if you are short on time. René was an excellent tour guide with an abundance of knowledge. I look forward to joining more Hamlet tours on future visits to Denmark.
